School Anthem
In 2019 6th class set about writing a school anthem that would hopefully capture everything that the school is about - a difficult task given all the great initiatives that take place. With the help of Ms. Hartnett we brainstormed many verses on different themes like sport, music, art, inclusivity and history. There were many quality verses that were sifted through and taken apart to fit in with other verses. Slowly but surely an anthem began to emerge and with the musical expertise of Ms. Boyle we began to practice singing our school anthem. Finally, with the help of Pierce O’Donnell, we recorded the school anthem on June 11th 2019. Please take a listen to the anthem below - A school anthem written for the children by the children.

We started off in juniors, now we’re here today
To help us on this journey, by making learning fun
We didn’t know each other, now friends we'll always be
Together we go further singing out our song .
