Chess Tournament

Two chess teams from our school recently took part in Féile Ficheall.
Féile Fichille is a one-day, fun and friendly, meet-and-greet style chess tournament. Our teams of 8 students “Promoting Pawns” and “Kings and Queens” had a great day out. They played amongst 12 other schools on the day.

Having ranked in the top three of Féile Ficheall, Promoting Pawns qualified to partake in the tournament Comórtas Ficheall on the 15th of March. This tournament consisted of 18 teams from 15 schools across Kildare. Our team really enjoyed the day.
